The Embodied Revolution is a global dance and wellness movement for social change.
The Embodied Revolution asks us, "How do we stay well while shifting normalcy?"
The Embodied Revolution is here … co-creating intentional containers that center community care to raise the vibration of artivists, healers, leaders, lightworkers, dancers, educators, and creatives.
We are creating a global movement collective connected through regular virtual and in-person experiences for tool-sharing, dance activations, healing arts circles, embodied divination, training artistic leadership and wellness development.
We create site specific performance ritual offerings that are shared with the broader community as we seek to practice right relationship with ourselves, each other, and the planet; we honor our intuition and source from the elements, the seasons, the rhythms of the cosmos.
The Embodied Revolution is currently made up worldwide artistic leadership trainings including: in person and hybrid immersions, professional development/staff wellness programs and an annual gathering of the global movement collective.
The Embodied Revolution is brought to you by SOL VIDA, who has served thousands of people across the globe, from Colorado, the SF Bay Area, and New York, to Mexico, Guatemala, Spain, France, and Colombia.
This work is born of SOL VIDA Movement Methodology, weaving together:
Afro, Modern, Hip Hop, and Conscious Dance forms with inspirations from SomaSource, 5 Rhythms, Symbology of the Orixas, with musical influences based in Bass, Downtempo, Afrobeats, AfroLatin, 80s pop, Drum n Bass, and House.

"Thank you for reconnecting us to ourselves and the Earth." - participant of The Embodied Revolution: Mexico City
"I had been searching for a container exactly like this - somewhere where all are welcomed with whatever movement background we bring, where we're invited to move for ourselves and with each other, where we can collaborate and create from a deep authentic place to bring a concrete and soulful offering to fruition. … I felt a deep sense of connection both to myself and to those I was moving and exploring with in this container. There was no sense of hierarchy which was so refreshing and unique in a setting like this." - participant of The Embodied Revolution: Berkeley
"The group was intimate and open. Beautiful spaces and facilitation." - participant of The Embodied Revolution: Berkeley
"Loved being out with the land dancing our prayers together. Loved the prompts and heart circles. Felt very comfortable to just be as I was." - participant of The Embodied Revolution: Berkeley
"In moments of difficulty I have come back to parts of my [choreopoem] that remind me of what is important to me and how best to move forward." - participant of The Embodied Revolution: Berkeley
Money is a way we exchange energy in our current world and we honor this for our own work while believing that cost should NOT be a barrier when holding soulful space. This work can only exist in these conditions if we get paid. We will leave it to YOU to choose what feels energetically aligned, grounded, and appropriate given your current circumstances to inspire your commitment to the container.
